T3 Lockdown - Free Testing At Home

Year 5

Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown, our Trial Test programs have been postponed. We are implementing a Free Testing at Home program for our Year 5 students that are enrolled in our Trial Test program.

​

The aim of our 'Lockdown - Free Testing at Home' program is to provide assistance to students until we can resume our Trial Tests. We will provide students with books that they can use to practise with at home (under exam conditions), followed with free weekly lessons to teach the work to the students.

  1. Please do not write in the borrowed books.
    The books posted to students are from our library and will need to be returned. STC has provided answer sheets for students to use. Please note that a fee of $20 / book may incur if books have been written on or damaged.
     

  2. Any queries regarding class time / changes please call us so we can assist you immediately. Enquiries via email may experience delayed responses.
     

  3. Students will need to confirm their attendance by filling out the form below.
    Students' allocated times will be held until August 9 2021.
    Students that confirm attendance after this date may not be able to join their originally allocated time & session.

Class Timetable & Structure

Students will be allocated into a class - please refer to the email sent to you.

Students will need to do the following books according to the timetable shown. Attempt the questions under exam conditions - timed - Math Reasoning: 35Q - 40 min, Thinking Skills: 40Q - 40 min

On the day of the lesson, (approximately 30 minutes before the start of class) you will
receive an email from us with a Webex invite link. Click on the link to join the class.

​

Please click on the Webex set up manual if you are new to Webex.

Week 6:

Students should have received their books via post.
Please check the codes on your books to see if they match the codes on your envelope. If the codes do NOT match, please give us a call ASAP.

Complete the first test before Week 7's lesson.

Week 7: Mon: 23/8/21, Wed: 25/8/21

First Class:

Monday Group: will cover Test 1 of Thinking Skills Book 1

Wednesday Group: will cover Test 1 of Thinking Skills Book 2

Week 8: Mon: 30/8/21, Wed: 1/9/21

Second Class:

Monday Group: will cover Test 2 of Thinking Skills Book 1

Wednesday Group: will cover Test 2 of Thinking Skills Book 2

After Week 10 class has finished, please kindly return the books to STC Main Centre. Once we receive your returns, we will send out a second set of books*.

* This second set of books will be sent if:

  1. Lockdown is still ongoing during Term 3 Week 10.

  2. We receive our scheduled books on time (Books are estimated to arrive from the publishers by mid-August)
